Evacuation and engineering UGVs are designed for different military missions despite sharing similar robotic platforms. Evacuation UGVs prioritize the safe transport of wounded personnel, offering stable mobility and payloads of approximately 150–400 kg (330–880 lbs) to support casualty evacuation under combat conditions. Engineering UGVs focus on transporting heavy equipment and supporting technical operations, typically carrying 500–1,000 kg (1,100–2,200 lbs) or more with greater emphasis on payload flexibility and load capacity.
