“Zaruba Bebra” UAV is a tactical fixed-wing unmanned platform designed for fire correction and air support missions at medium ranges. Its design is focused on rapid deployment in field conditions and compatibility with standard control and video surveillance systems used by units. Launch is carried out using a compact pneumatic catapult designed specifically for this platform. When folded, the catapult has dimensions comparable to the aircraft itself, which simplifies transportation and deployment in mobile field conditions.

FAQ

The Zaruba Bebra UAV uses stable fixed-wing flight and GPS navigation, which allows it to accurately reach a designated point over long distances. This ensures a predictable flight trajectory and effective execution of strike missions.

The UAV has a compact design with detachable wings, which significantly simplifies transportation. Before launch, the wings are quickly installed, after which the drone is ready for operation. Combined with a pneumatic catapult launch, this allows the system to be rapidly prepared and launched in field conditions without complex infrastructure.

Stable radio communication ensures flight control over the entire distance to the target. An ERLS radio channel at 433–915 MHz is used for control, and analog video at 5.8 GHz is used for video transmission, with optional support for 7, 3.3, or 1.2 GHz. This allows the use of existing ground FPV infrastructure and maintains reliable control during mission execution.

The Zaruba Bebra UAV transmits real-time video and telemetry to the operator, allowing them to monitor the flight and assess the situation during mission execution. For this purpose, a low-light camera is used, along with standard video transmission frequencies compatible with ground stations, controllers, and goggles used in FPV systems.

The fixed-wing aircraft-type aerodynamic design provides stable and controllable flight over long distances. The combination of a cruising speed of 95 km/h, a maximum speed of up to 150 km/h, and a well-designed structure allows the UAV to efficiently follow its route and maintain control under various operating conditions.

The ability to deploy and launch the drone in a matter of seconds allows critical moments to be captured and enables rapid response to situations requiring immediate action. This directly impacts the efficiency and outcome of the mission.

A high-quality video signal allows the operator to control the flight, adjust the course, and respond promptly to changes in the environment. The Zaruba Bebra uses 5.8 GHz analog video transmission and can also operate at 7, 3.3, or 1.2 GHz, enabling integration into existing control infrastructure.
