General device description
Zaruba FPV is a series of maneuverable long-range FPV drone platforms engineered to perform tactical missions in real time. Designed for extended FPV drone range, each unit delivers stable performance and precise control even at significant distances. The drone is equipped with a low-light analog camera, enabling the operator to receive a consistent video feed and maintain accurate navigation throughout the mission. The optimized flight controller firmware ensures stable operation during payload deployment, preserving maneuverability across the full range of FPV drone capabilities, even in challenging weather conditions. The carefully engineered design and component layout support high-speed, precise mission execution, combining responsive handling, dynamic flight performance, and efficient video transmission across an extended FPV drone range. This long-range FPV drone takes off from the ground and uses brushless motors to deliver high speed and predictable performance in dynamic flight scenarios. As a versatile long-distance FPV drone, it offers a well-balanced combination of power, control, and endurance, ensuring consistent results across the entire operational range of FPV drone deployments.

The ELRS control system, supporting the 400–960 MHz and 1.9–2.7 GHz ranges, along with 700 MHz and 1000 MHz diversity configurations, ensures that each long-range FPV drone maintains a stable and reliable communication link between the operator and the platform, even in challenging electronic warfare environments. This robust link is critical for extending the effective FPV drone range and enabling dependable operation.
The video channel supports analog transmission in the 1.1–1.36 GHz, 3.3 GHz, and 4.9–6.1 GHz bands, allowing the long-range FPV drone to adapt to varying radio conditions and maintain stable real-time visual control across the full range of FPV drone missions. This flexibility ensures uninterrupted situational awareness at extended distances.
Brushless motors paired with optimized propellers create a balanced aerodynamic configuration, delivering stable flight, precise responsiveness to operator commands, and efficient payload handling. This setup enhances the overall FPV drone range, ensuring that the long-distance FPV drone performs consistently in diverse weather conditions.
The 8s3p battery-based power system is engineered to balance flight time, platform weight, and output power, supporting stable operation of propulsion and onboard video systems. This energy efficiency directly contributes to maximizing the range of FPV drone operations and sustaining performance throughout extended missions.
