The Chuyka drone detector is a cutting-edge portable radioelectronic reconnaissance device engineered for the detection of analog video signals and real-time identification of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Developed in close collaboration with frontline military units, Chuyka represents the culmination of extensive field testing and iterative refinement based on actual combat conditions. The system provides early warning capabilities that are critical for force protection in modern warfare environments. The detector operates across multiple frequency bands commonly used by commercial and military drones, offering comprehensive coverage of the electromagnetic spectrum. Its compact form factor and rugged construction make it ideal for deployment in diverse operational environments.
Key Features
The small screen is used to display frequency ranges and the current scanning mode, while the large screen shows any captured analog video signal, enabling simultaneous monitoring of the radio environment and visual identification of the signal source.

The compact dimensions without antennas—95 × 158 × 47 mm—optimize the device's placement in gear and transport, allowing for easy carrying, quick access, and operation in confined spaces.
Weighing up to 650 g, it reduces the operator's load for prolonged use without fatigue during both mobile and stationary operations.
Flexible combination of user-selected frequencies in (VRX) mode, with the ability to add specific bands to a blacklist to exclude unwanted frequencies from scanning and focus the device on priority signals.
The device's indication system generates visual and audio alerts upon detecting radio frequency activity, keeping the operator informed and enabling a timely response to events.
Autonomous operation for up to 6–8 hours thanks to a 4500 mAh battery, allowing extended monitoring without frequent recharging.
SMA Female antenna connectors allow the attachment of high-sensitivity antennas to increase detection range and ensure stable radio signal reception in various operating conditions.
The device housing meets the IP54 protection level, providing resistance to dust and water splashes and ensuring equipment functionality in adverse weather conditions.
The construction is made of impact-resistant technical PETG plastic, providing mechanical protection for internal components during field and mobile operations.
The production and technical support of the Chuyka drone detector are provided by Zaruba Tech.
